Question Good, Afforable 18s for track use that clear BBK?????

So I have a set of stock 18s i am thinking of selling and getting some aftermarket 18s to use for auto crossing and drag days, when my car is done this year it will be putting down from 480whp on low boost to over 600whp on special days so traction is going to be very important.

Check my sig for my current wheels which i love and are for "show" they are 20s

What I am looking for is a good looking lighwieght 18s wheels (9.5 and 10.5) and also what would be a really good track tire to run and size.... Pics of my car in my sig so you can get an idea as to what looks good, I want something either top secret gold or black,,, i can always have them painted so no big deal there.

Anyways opinions and comments are greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

Just to make sure 19 arent good for the track so i should def. go with 18s right???

If I was to get a a wide wheel for track use it would be the Enkei NT03:

Very strong, not to expensive and come wide. I beleive one of the guys from Performance Nissan is running them and they look great.

+1 on the FNR01Cs. cheap. fits over BBks. decently light.

or get used LMGt4s that are currbed.. since they're tracked, who cares what they look like.. they will fit BBKs easy and they're forged!

My 18x10.5 w/ 295/35/18 Kumho Ecsta MX rubber was just under 50lbs filled...

Unfortunatly RPF1 do not have the best fittments for 350Z unless you do 18x9.5 all around...

NT03+M still my fav...

Wrong. There are now 19" R compound tires for the track. P-Zero Corsa's. No need to go to 18's for the track anymore.

You definitely can't go wrong with one of the Enkeis. The NT03s and RPF1s would look good. Throw some Kumho Ecsta MXs or Falken RT-615s and you'll get the most bang for the buck.

Umm, ok. You might want to tell that to NISMO and their SuperGT (formerly JGTC) 350Zs, Porsche and all their Porsche Cup cars, and the majority of the Grand Am Cup and Speed GT teams who still run on 18s. And guess what? They are all full race cars. There is no need to increase the diameter of the wheel, but you do want to go with as much width as possible.
