Exclamation New BBS wheels... Luke, we need info!

Hey Luke,

Eddie from Tirereack posted a bit of info on the Audiworld wheel and tire forum about the new BBS RG-R and the RS-GT. Here's a link to that post http://forums.audiworld.com/wheel/msgs/57276.phtml

I know it's a new wheel and new fitments will be forthcoming.

Please keep us updated on the fitment, pricing, availablity and big-brake clearance for our 350Z.

Thanks for all your help in information.

I agree. I think it would look pretty darn good on a Daytona Blue.... probably look darn good on your Silverston as well.

Looks like BBS will have 9" and 10" wide... cross the fingers that they have good offsets for the 350Z.

Very Nice!!! I also like the BBS CH. It's a very similar design RS-GT, the diferences are very minor. These are both very hot designs.

Went to the BBS web site, did not find much info, so I sent an E mail.....here is the reply:

the only thing that we currently offer that is the proper size and offset for the 350Z is the RS-GT. The RS-GT is a 2 piece version of the RG-R. The finish is clear coated paint not black chrome. The one car we have done so far was with 19x8.5's front and 19x9.5's rear. With those widths and the low offset needed for the car they make for some real nice looking lips. If I can locate a picture I'll send it to you. The wheels retail for $960.00 front and $1,040.00 rear. I am sure a RG-R fitment is in under development but I don't have an ETA on when it will be ready.

Ouch....BIG bucks, but they sure are perty!

I think I'll wait for the one piece...No rivits/allens.

Check with Graham at japanparts.com. I looked into these wheels a couple of months ago. He sent me a link to BBS Japan that actually had Z33 fitments...don't think the BBS USA guy knows what he's talking about! I'll try to find the link tomorrow am when I'm at my work pc. They are pretty expensive, but very nice. I decided to go for a more 'mag' look, rather than mesh though...if I were going mesh, they would be at the top of my list.

at this time we do not know about the compatability of the TPMS sensors but, they will be available for the 350's without the Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems for sure. There are actually 2 different new BBS wheels that will work.

the RG-R 18x9 front / 18x10 rear

the RS-GT 19x8.5 front / 19x10 rear

We will have more info when they arrive in a few weeks

Graham at Japanparts.com gave me this link back in November when I was considering the RG-R's. They do have Z33 fitments.
