Check the latest testing results at Consumer Reports. Testing includes a breakdown of wet performance.

you mean like aquatreads or the best max performance tire .. in the water. Michellin PS2's are about the best street tire IMO, period. Dry, wet, noise, weight, comfort... awesome tires. And they are lasting me (so far) longer than the stock potenzas and the SO3's I had before.

He's right.. The PS2 is the best thing out there..

A few other tires that I would pick are the Goodyear Eagle GS-D3 and the BFG KDW.

evobunny-
I live in Oregon and we just recorded the third wettest January EVER! (or at least since they've been tracking that kind of stuff) I'm with Chris on this one. I'm running the BFG KDW2s with 560+ horsepower and I'm really happy with them. They're a little noisy, but I drive a roadster.

BFG KDW NT. I can't personally say how they compare to Toyo, Michelin PS2, or others. But they are a huge improvement over stock and I've had no problems in the rain - no scary incidents etc. Then again, I've only driven them in the rain maybe 5-6 times since this is Socal.

I have the Michelin PS A/S and love em... Much better rain tire than stock and better traction & less noise on dry pavement.
