I can get a 6.3mm Spacer set for $30.. Will stock studs work OK there?

You should probably space out +42 offset wheel quite a bit more than 5-6mm...

You want to be in the 20-30 range ideally, depending on wheel width. I've even seen people going as low as 15 offsets on some wheels.

I spaced out the G35 RAYS on my Z 15 and 20mm with KICS spacers and they are 30-33 offsets to begin with. Looks perfect.

No problems either. What are you wary about?

Good Info There. Should I go with a Longer Stud and Spacer "Plate" or those bolt on jobs like the H&R? I can get the former in 20mm for $180ish and the latter will run about $250ish.. Just buying 6mm Spacer with Stock Studs will only cost me $60, but may not look as good?

What about brake caliper clearance? I have non-brembros..

Cuz 17X8" is a damn Civic, Integra, Celica, RSX, weaksauce size-so you'll likely find very ghey offsets. Man-up and get some 9.5" + wide wheels/rubber like a Z should have and offset in the 20's. You may not be happy, but at least we wont laugh at you....

The above was a joke, this is not: if you cant do it right why do it at all? Just stay stock or do some spacers on stock with wider tires to hold you off.

Thats cool man.. I am considering a set of 18's and tires.. i really like the ride of the 17 with the 50 series on them.. but if I cant get anything nice, I will just save up for something larger.

You look into like Axis Hiro's? You can get them staggered in 18" for under $1300, look good imo and nice and wide....
