Default Why does my 19"s Stern rims look so small???

I got 19"s for the wow factor and all I get is comments from people asking if they are 17"s or 18"s...

The rims are Sterns ST-1 and tires sizes are 245/35 fron and 275/35 rears. The wheels just looks tiny and the fat lip in teh rear make the rear rims looks even smaller... This is disappointing... Is this just on my car?

you need to put a drop on the car, it makes a significant difference on how big the rims look.

lip looks two-stepped? could be wrong. also the rubber looks fat around the wheel. did you maintain the same overall diameter so your speedo doesn't get too messed up?

18 to 19", you don't see much different. Just drop your car and you will see it bigger.

Same diameter. I went with 245/35/19 and 275/35/19.

Those two dents are new... I want to get those dents taken out but too cheap.

I want to drop the car but then driving in the winter in Boston will be a pain...

you don't need to drop all the way. Just a bit.

The wheels will look alot smaller when they've got a tall (not deep) lip. To really appreciate the size of the wheel you want your spokes to go almost all the way the edge, otherwise the short spokes make it a bit deceiving. Kind of like a beautiful girl with long legs.

I'll have to agree with everyone elses. Bringing out the spokes makes the wheel look a lot bigger.

Honestly...they don't look bad at all to me. They look like 19in. wheels from the pic. It is easy to pick out people w/ 18in. rims on the forum. Like everyone is saying, get a small drop and you will feel better about the rim.

i personally have always thought that rims with spokes that end before the lip seem a lot smaller than they really are.

The design of the wheel also plays a significant role in how big they look.
