The rear tire will be .25" smaller in diameter than the front. That is wrong in a lot of ways. If you have VDC.... it's definetly a no go. For stock rear diameter a 295/30/19, or a 275/35/19 is the correct rear size. No 285 now matter what series is a correct size. 295 is also a correct width for a 10" wheel.

would .25" even be noticeable? and i dont have vdc. does this change anything? so is 275/30/19 in front (9.5) ok? thanks for the response btw.

But at least the price is right.
let me be the one to show: 295/30/19 (10s) rear

Yeah it would be noticeable. The rear should be about .50" larger than the front. The fender gap will be much increased. The difference will be -.75 from original size.

275/30/19 in front is perfect with the correct wheel offset. 295/30/19 will be the correct rear size. But only a few manufaturers makre a 295/30/19 and Vredestein isn't one of them.

275/30 on a 9-9.5" is fine.

Drop the mud guards.... They look rediculous with a 295 tire. I deposited mine directly in the garbage.

285/30 is too small a diameter, and 285/35 is too big a diameter.

wouldn't the difference between 275/30 and 285/35 be about .68" ? is that too much of a difference? bc you said the back should be .5" bigger, so the difference is more like .18" ? or am i just totally wrong?

i work for a local speed shop and we deal with a lot of wheel shop ,if you upgrade to 19 majority of wheel shops will tell you to run 245/35/19 in the front and from 265 to 285/30/19 in the rear
i think chad is very confuse

I dont agree with Jet at all about the 285 issue. Im running a 245/35/19 up front and a 285/35/19 int he rear and have no issues AT ALL with my VDC. In fact, I use to run a 285/30/19 in the back and it occasionally would trip my TCS if I pushed it on an onramp etc. With the 285/35 I have absolutely no issues at all. I bought a pair of used Pirelli Rosso's with ALOT of life left to them (looks like they're stock rear tires that came from a Porcshe) for $45 each. These tires I highly recommend and are quite kickass. Super grip and they beat the s**t out of the Dunlop SP8000's I had before that I had bought brand new.

My car is lowered on Tanabe GF210's and the rear rims are 10.5" and these 285/35/19's fill up the wheel well perfectly and much better than the 285/30's did. Not to mention my ride improved slightly since Im not running on rubberband 30 series. Only way Id run a 30 series again is if on next change I can get my hands on some used 295/30/19's.
