would you run a 275-30-19 if you got it for free?

The rear tire will be .25" smaller in diameter than the front. That is wrong in a lot of ways. If you have VDC.... it's definetly a no go. For stock rear diameter a 295/30/19, or a 275/35/19 is the correct rear size. No 285 now matter what series is a correct size. 295 is also a correct width for a 10" wheel.

But at least the price is right.

Yeah it would be noticeable. The rear should be about .50" larger than the front. The fender gap will be much increased. The difference will be -.75 from original size.
275/30/19 in front is perfect with the correct wheel offset. 295/30/19 will be the correct rear size. But only a few manufaturers makre a 295/30/19 and Vredestein isn't one of them.
275/30 on a 9-9.5" is fine.

I dont agree with Jet at all about the 285 issue. Im running a 245/35/19 up front and a 285/35/19 int he rear and have no issues AT ALL with my VDC. In fact, I use to run a 285/30/19 in the back and it occasionally would trip my TCS if I pushed it on an onramp etc. With the 285/35 I have absolutely no issues at all. I bought a pair of used Pirelli Rosso's with ALOT of life left to them (looks like they're stock rear tires that came from a Porcshe) for $45 each. These tires I highly recommend and are quite kickass. Super grip and they beat the s**t out of the Dunlop SP8000's I had before that I had bought brand new.
My car is lowered on Tanabe GF210's and the rear rims are 10.5" and these 285/35/19's fill up the wheel well perfectly and much better than the 285/30's did. Not to mention my ride improved slightly since Im not running on rubberband 30 series. Only way Id run a 30 series again is if on next change I can get my hands on some used 295/30/19's.
