Is there an issue with squeezing a 255/35 tire on an 8" wheel? Any body out there done that?
My car feels awesome and has track model Rays with 255/35/18 and 265/35/18. For me, and engineering is not my background so bear with me, the car is 300% better than stock rims and tires.

You haven't had any problems running such wide tires on such narrow rims?

Nahh. I will post a picture when I get home. The tires look perfect! Not cheeky at all. And the feel of the car is immediate response. I'm sure the drop will be about two seconds a lap at the track. I painted the rims red metallic bronze with Dupont Chroma Based and it looks mean. If anything I will go bigger next time with 265/35 front and 275/35 rear. Oh, almost forgot; the braking is insane with 255 front and the Brembos. I have an 06 Lexus IS 250 and the braking is not near at how the Z feels now. Its a race car, baby.
