Default New Enkei PKRs

New wheels finally...kind of. they are not much different than my current ones but enough of a differerence to warrant the purchase. i also bought the Autotecknic CF JGTC style mirrors. they should look real good with these wheels.

UPS did lose my two front wheels. i have to wait three days for anything to happen. i wanted them on for a photoshoot this weekend but that is not going to happen.

i didn't realize that the lip was going to be black, from the pics on the DTD site, i thought the lip would be machined/polished like my PK6s. all the black is growing on me though. thought about sending them back but i might just keep them.

the sizes are as follows: Enkei PKR 18x8.5 +24 F 18x9.5 +25

They look good, but that lip looks like it will show scratches easy!

Sharp looking wheel. I would prefer to see it on the car.

yep, i was thinking the same thing. decisions, decisions...

do you guys think it would be easy to apply that 3M clear guard to a wheel? i would imagine it would be but have now experience with that stuff.

why didnt you just powder coat the wheels you already had? would have been cheaper.

thought about it but i like the polished center with the bolt holes exposed more than i do the cap. never have been a big fan of caps but i got a good deal on the PK6s. the area behind the cap of the PK6 is machined different than the PKR. the PK6 wouldn't look good cap-less.

It has been a consensus so far...everyone likes the new ones better. so do i! just worried about the scratching of the lip. I built my car mainly for show so i couldn't have that. i think my best alternative is to armorcoat the whole wheel. Anyone know of any places that would polish the lip on my wheels for a good price and do an excelent job? i am worried that it will not look clean afterwards. for example, i don't want the polished area to end just short of the inner edge unevenly. the cheapest alternative would be 3M clear guarding them. anyone know where i could purchase sheets of that stuff? can it be purchased like that?
