Hey how much have you guys paid to have TPMS taken off of wheels that still have tires on them?

I don't have TPMS in my Z.
I was charged $15 per tire to have my tires mounted so hopefully you should pay no more than that.

Hmm yeah so you would think it would be no more than price to mount a tire plus maybe $5 max a wheel for a new valve stem...
For some reason the shop I go to has a specific "TPMS Service" which is an additional $25 per wheel! And they charge $25 to mount/balance a wheel. Yeah you do the math. =(

I would just call around, that doesn't sound right.

My friend said he can get them 4 bucks a piece but you would need to do a bulk order of 10 000 pieces lol
I got lucky with my set and paid quite a bit under 200cad ^^

I don't know if I would trust the $8/hr tire shop employee to even understand how to take those lugs off....

My fault. I can't find anyone that will remove my TPMS for a reasonable price. He's a great guy to deal with though!

Attaboy!!
I would make a thread in the forum below and in your regional forum:

There are still plenty of sets out there to be had.

This is from Friday after the JNC meet, it really shows off the gloss of the wheels

Awesome! Props for tracking it too!
I was considering a 18x9.5 square setup to keep LMGT's, how do you like it?
Do you mostly do HPDE / NASA or AutoX too?
