Default 17x9" Enkei RPM2

I'm looking to pick up a set of track wheels. I have a few requirements.

1. 17" rim (tires are cheaper)
2. 9" width (need the wider rubber)
3. clear stoptech BBK (will definately upgrade to a BBK in the future)

Enkei has the RPM2 in 17x9 +40 offset. Would there be a fitment problem
with the BBK or any rubbing issues. I also wanted the ability to rotate the tires between track events.

You used the offset calculator above? What were the results?

I would still have no idea if a stoptech bbk kit will clear.

I would guess no, but it might. I would check out the MB Motoring wheels at Discount Tire Direct. You can get the Weapon or Competition in 17 x 9, in either +27 or +17. Both clear BBK's, are affordable and a much better fitment than a +40.

I've got a set of used Enkei RPM2s with tires. Let me know if you're interested! Only 1500 miles on the combo

I would definitely go with a lower offset.

I have the 5 spoke competition for the track in 17X9 +27 and think they are great. Very reasonable price (ok so they were downright cheap), look great, I don't have to worry about getting dings on them, and they clear my Stoptechs just fine. They aren't the lightest wheels out there but I figure more track time will make me a much better and faster driver than shaving wheel weight. Also a side note, I am not sure about it, but I was told way back when that the +17 would NOT clear my 13" Stoptech kit. I can't verify this but make sure to use their caliper clearance thingy to be sure, if you decide on the +17 that is.
