Trust me, you can put the TPS on ANY wheel. Now I didn't say that they would come out the hole for the valve stem.

I don't have TPS on my volks. It's not a big deal IMO. I mean...you're suppose to check the tire pressure once in awhile anyways so who needs a sensor to remind you?

It's not there to remind you. It's there to show you the current psi and warn you should there be any leaks or flats. It doesn't say "It's that time of the month again - time to check your tire pressure"

i have 2 sets of after market rims, the sensors are on the track rims, not on the show tires.

My HREs have a centered valve stem and my TPS system works perfectly. I think JAK's [advance search user name: JAK] modification to the original post is the best idea for having a secure system with bands. https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/49675-designed-a-way-to-mount-tire-pressure-sensor-to-any-wheel.html

BTW, I had the sensor put 180 degrees from the valve stem, which kept the wheels properly balanced.

Mike (thanks Discount Tire for their installation according to the posts from this site)

Yeah. I already know about the bands. Just getting some ideas of how may member have them on or not. So, back to the original question.
How many people are using stock TPS sensors with their aftermarket wheels?
