Default Le28n mounting issue

just purchased a set of used Le28n for 350z from a member on this site. When I try to mount the wheels to the car, it does not slide all the way in. So i looked at the stud, it appeared that the bolt that secures the rotor to the front bearing is in the way. So what can i do to make it work. I'm also having slotted rotor and new brakes installed tomorrow. Do you think it would help? any input would be appreciated.

Remove the bolt. It's something the factory puts on to prevent you from accidently mounting the rear wheels on the front of the car. Aftermarket wheels don't have the little hole in the back of them that the stock wheels have.

no, but i was just looking at 350z DVD.....i think these wheels were made for z's with Brembo braking system. Brembo does not have the extra bolt that secures the rotor to the bearing. Non brembo has an extra bolt extruding from the rotor...damn..... Do you think by replacing the rotors would help?

oh, ok. Just by simply removing the bolt will allow the wheels to slide in. How about the rotors? would the rotors stay in place? I thought it had something to do with the type of braking system.

Thank you very much for your input DavesZ#3 and Ivnthez. Never thought installing aftermarket wheels could be pain in the ***. I will have my shop to remove the bolt tomorrow. Thanks again...

Those wheels look awesome. If you have a friend, they can sit in the car and hold the brake pedal down while you take the bolt out so the rotor doesn't turn. Otherwise, there is another trick to doing it by yourself but it's kind of ghetto.
