Question TPS valve stem valves - Can you replace them?

Does anyone know if you can buy replacement valves for the valve stems? They don't look like they require a special valve assembly or anything. It would seem to me that they allow you to remove them in order to replace ones that aren't sealing correctly anymore. I bought an extra set of TPS's for my second pair of rims and none of them have their valves in them, thus they won't hold any air.

Yes the shrader valves inside are the same as the regular valve stems. I had to replace mine when I changed my rims, so I just took the valves out of another set I had.

I went onto Schrader-Bridgeport's website and found out that they sell TPMS service packs that include a seaing cap, sealing grommet, hex nut, and electroless valve core; however, they don't mention how to go about getting this.

In terms of the valve core it says that you ARE NOT to use a brass valve core in the Aluminum TPS valve body because the contact between dissimilar metals may cause galvanic corrosion, which can lead to loss of air pressure.

Thus, I'm on a mission now to try and find nickle-plated valve cores around my local area.

Let me know when you find a solution, I need the a new valve core also. I almost had it replaced with a brass one! Thanks for the input!

Do you know what size or part number I should be looking for??

Bump for help!

Here is the link to schrader-bridgeport website. They don't release the specs but I think its your standard schrader valve, just nickle-plated instead of brass.

Okay, I'll go check again at my local tire shop, see if they may have any in stock. I'll let you know what happens.

Thanks again!
