Default paint the stock rims black?

I posted this on g35driver but I want as many opinions as possible. I want to paint my rims a nice glossy black color, and leave the outer rim the original color to distinguish the wheels from the tires. anoybody think this would look good or would it be rice?

I've seen some really hot blacked out G's... go for it! I'd look into having them powder coated though.

I think it would look great. I was actually thinking of doing that with my factory wheels, but I found some aftermarkets with black spokes, and a polished outer rim. I can't wait to get 'em

I think it would look awesome, but like stated before, pay the money and have them professionally powder coated.

Members have painted the OEM wheels all colors. Some to match the car - some to contrast the car color. If you want to paint the wheels - do it.

I dont think leaving the outer rim (lip) as stock color cos there isnt a proper lip. So I think itll look way better if u powdercoat the whole wheel. I for instance painted just the wheels from inside and chromed out my lip. Check out the link.

It will looks a bit like you're rolling on steelies ...

If you want black rims they gotta have some kind of contrast. For example, a polished lip. Sorry to those of you who painted your rims gloss black, but it usually looks terrible to me. Just one person's opinion.
