Default Wheel upgrade

2005-Base with 17x7.5/17x8. Any problem with getting 17x8 front and rear?

Thanks. Just looking to reduce unsprung weight, and some manufacturers don't sell 7.5. Look: So far I like Weds Sport SA-90/Bronze, 21lbs.

Why would you put that skinny of tires on a Z..Your going to lose more speed due to traction issues than you would if you had some heavier wider tires.

You have a point if you're talking about popping the clutch from a standing-start. But for any other type of straight-line acceleration, 17/235/8 are BY FAR the best.
