Inexpensive Wheels Where would you draw the line?
hey i was wondering what you guys thought would be to cheap on a set of 18" wheels. I've been looking at some on ebay that are like 6-800 and I'm just wondering if you guys thought those would be to cheap to put on a Z? Also what are some of the advantages of a more expensive wheel? And any suggestions for black wheels that would look good on a red z would be appreciated.

I'd rather stay with stock wheels than get cheap wheels. At best there as good as stock and your paying for them at worst their garbage and you getting ripped off.
Theres a saying with wheels: "light, cheap and strong; you can pick any 2"
light strong and expensive, light cheap and weak, or heavy and cheap and strong.

Dude...I'm pretty new to this forum as well, but can't you please click the damn search button before posting useless threads? Your questions have been addressed in EVERY WAY SHAPE AND FORM numerous times over the past 4 years, yet you continue to clutter up this site asking more of the same.
I know EXACTLY what your reponse will be also:
Well, that's pretty accurate, but here out of common respect for other members, it is suggested that you stop being lazy and search yourself. If you have so much time to look up cheap crap on ebay, you can spend a few minutes to sift through the WEALTH of information this site and the thousands of faithful members here have already offered on all the subjects you bring up.

Seriously man, we can't tell you everything, research!
The difference in wheels, is above all $, and quality! Kinda like buying a Porsche or a Fiat, get it! Good, now go shine my shoes, shine boy

Start on page 1 of Wheels/Tires forum.
Look for relevant threads.
Then click page 2. Look some more.
It really doesn't take long. If you're going to make a big purchase, why limit yourself to what comments people make in a NEW thread you started? You should get all the info you can, by looking through old threads. That is the only way to be an informed buyer.
