Removing stock wheels with TPS
Guys,
I am planning to replace my stock wheels with aftermarket rims/tires.
I don't plan to have tps with my aftermarket set. When taking the stock wheels off the car, is it the same procedure with a Z model without the tps?
Anything I have to look for or remove?
Thanks,
Tony

No. The TPS is inside the tire so unless you are demounting/mounting tires on your own you don't need to worry. Just take the stock wheels off and put the new ones on. YOu won't get pressure readings any more but I'm sure you know that.
I'll be finding out how hard it is to demount/mount with the tps sensors myself this winter...should be interesting.

I am annoyed by it too. I like to set my speed reading from the digital display. Everytime I start the car, it shows the psi ****. I am still on my stock. It saying "Rear". How do I know its right or left?

Don't forget to remove the little alignment bolts off of the front rotor hats. They're only there to make sure you don't mount the rear OEM rims to the front. There is one on each side of the front rotor hats. Use a small wrench or ratchet to take em' off. I believe it's either a 10mm or 12mm bolt.

Depending on the year of your car, you can get anything from a flashing light to annoying beeping sounds if you don't have them in the new wheels. BTW, it is illegal to remove them FYI.
