Default Powder Coatingggg???

ok here's the deal, my rims right now are basically hyper black, so i was wanting to go for the all black look but i dont want new rims, so i already spoke to some1 about powder coating them and he gave me a quote of 100 per rim, is this a good deal, and has any1 powder coated theirs before??? and what do you know abuot powder coating, good idea?? or bad??

100 is kinda expensive...i got it for 60 a wheel

ya i got a 75/wheel quote and that was just the closest place i know. Other places have quoted 50/wheel but there a ways away.

For you that have had your wheels powder coated before. What did you do with your car while this was being done? Did you just leave it on jack stands or what?

I had a set of stock 17" rims powder coated for $50/rim. This is an extra set that I purchased for autox. Click on my sig below for pictures of these rims (located in my autox page).
