Default How do I set TPS's?

Does anyone know how to set a new set of tire pressure sensors? Must this be done by a dealer? Thanks.

To be more accurate, the Nissan CONSULT unit must be used to help the ECU 'read' the signals for the TPS. Usually, these units are pretty $$, so you go to a dealer to have this done. Takes about ten minutes.

I always thought that if you place the sensor close to the exact previous location on the valve stem...they should work OK.

If they are not your stock ones, you will have to take them to the dealer with your car to have them programmed.
