Default Thoughts on SEVAS wheels?

Hey Guys,

What is the general opinion on SEVAS wheels?

Interested in the S-Star's... are they decent wheels? or just cheaply made? looking for any input.

Thanks...

I have always liked SEVAS, and those in particular are Beautiful on a Z, I wanted to get those, but they were a little out of my budget.

For about $250/each, I think that you can make a couple of assumptions. Its a fake 2-piece cast wheel. If this suits you needs and budget, then go for it.

I like the way those look. I was considering jumping on them since there was a good deal on them in the F/S section. but they have to be heavy so I'm opt for something else.

You should PM the guy that is sponsered by Sevas. He posted pics of his redline Z with custom Sevas S-Star with red pinstriping on the wheels i think. Very nice... i was thinking about buying S-Stars too.

Edit: Heres the pictures of his redline https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=sevas

I was about to get these same wheels, but then decided against it.
Lots of people had good things to say about the wheels, and then some also had bad things to say about them. One of the bads I heard from a vendor (not here) was that they were made in a plant in China. Can't think of any good wheel that was made in China. The other was the fake multipeice design. So I held out and snagged a set of SSR sp-01s... and I'm glad I did. I was so close to pulling the trigger on the Sevas S-Stars though. I don't want to risk speeding in cheap wheels.
