Stock Potenzas louder than FK452?
Maybe someone with Falken Fk452's can chime in.
I took the stock wheels and tires off my Z about a month after getting the car, so I never really acquired a memory for the way Potenzas sound on the road. I took my aftermarket wheels w/ FK452's off last night and slapped the stockers back on so I can do some repairs. Holy crap, the Potenzas are loud! I feel like I'm in a helicopter. Especially during deceleration. Am I crazy?

The Bridgestones are loud.. even when new. My car is a lot quieter with the FK452s and that's with a slight drop and 20s.

I live in San Jose, California so, our winters do not have any snow. Just sunshine and rain. So, far in the rain they have been really good compared to my old Nitto NT-555 setup. I found a usefull website that has good info on the Falken FK452 that might help you. http://www.fk452.com/technicalinfo.html

Its pretty much because potenzas suck *****! I went from owning truck with pretty aggresive off road tread tires to the z with potenzas and have to say the truck was noticably quiter on the road.
