Default Which Volk center caps for RE30's? (Volk350Z!)

I just got some Volk RE30's and ordered these center caps:

http://www.injectedperformance.com/V...t.aspx?ID=3857

and while they fit fine, they don't seem to be very tight in the wheel. Are these the correct center caps for RE30s, and if not, which center caps are the correct ones? Thanks

not sure about RE's, but I'm sure those are the centercaps for TE's (time attacks).

A good bet would be to PM "volk350z".

Did you try putting a rag or something over and give them a good wack with a rubber mallet? My GTS centers didn't go on well with me pushing on them. I got them to fit nice and snug after I tried ^.

They went in okay, and "snapped" into place (didn't really make a snap sound though!). But they just seem like aren't very tight... compared to my GT-C center caps. I'll double check just to be certain.

Yeah I know at you mean. The rubber lining around the cap just kind of gets pushed in. As long as the cap is straight all around you should be alright. I was paranoid for like the first month and kept checking them. They never moved or popped up. You should be okay.

Thanks for the fast reply Brian! Which is the correct O-ring? Here's a photo of exactly what I received in each package of 2 center caps:

So it looks like they came with 1 extra O-ring per center cap? Or do I need to change out the O-ring for different wheels? The little instruction manual is in Japanese, which I can't read! Here it is, zoomed up:

Can someone translate? thanks!

Ok..I just swapped out the O-ring with the thicker ones that came with the center caps. Now it fits in the wheel MUCH better, now it feels secure. Before I could pull the center cap out by just pulling on the front (face) side of the rim... now i have to push fairly hard from the inside to pop it out. Thanks

Now I'm curious about the hub rings that came with the wheel.. but I posted that question in another thread
