get rid of the 20s, that's ruining your performance anyway. A lot of people run 19s, and there are a lot of max performance tires in 19...and 18 obviously.

High performance and 20-inch wheels are contradictory. Your tire selection is limited. If it fits it will be good enough.

yes, I know, it is contradictory, but I can't do 18's because the car will be too low...I need a balance of looks and performance. I should have gotten 19's when I first bought wheels, but I didn't....and I don't want to get rid of my 20's just yet. I've been looking for a nice set of concave 19s, but haven't really found the ones I want and I'm in dire need of new tires. Luckily the 13+ psi of boost will offset the 20's knock on wood I don't snap an axle...

I just put on a new set of Advan Sports in the stock size and they have been great so far. Excellent in the wet!

The only problem I have with the Advan Sport is the 180 treadwear I'm going to go through a set in a month...

I know you were just exaggerating, but you're not going to go through something with 180 treadwear very fast unless you're going the track every weekend during that month.

Plus, if you want performance tires, you have to sacrifice longevity. Grip and durable treadwear don't really coexist.

But personally, I think if you have 20s on the car, you're more interested in looks over performance, so any tire would work, as long as the treads looked aggressive.

One more note: You should also be concerned about wearing out your hubs with such heavy wheels on your car. Most people don't realize that a heavy wheel puts additional stresses on the hub bearings causing premature wear. Hub replacements aren't cheap, so I'd be more concerned about that over how quickly you're going to be going through tires.

Not if you're rolling 20s
