NISMO 60mm extended wheel studs
Has anyone installed these on their car? I installed the studs that came with my wheel spacers that had an overall length of 50 mm and was just barely able to angle them in behind the hub flange and into the holes. I'm thinking if I wanted to get the even longer NISMO studs I may have to remove the whole wheel bearing assembly to get them in. This was on the rear wheels.

Another really old thread but I was wondering what
you came up with?
I assume that the Rear Hub has to removed in order
to do this and I was wondering what type of remover
was use...
Anyone??

Not sure if this is helpful to get extra clearance, but here is a tutorial for replacing the studs which involves moving the drum brake assembly aside, not sure if you did this or not, and if this gives you added clearance, but its work a shot

Great Info.
...but I personally do not like the idea of "hammering" out of
the Studs! I really think that removing the Wheel Hub is
a better way of doing this procedure. Plus, with a Hydraulic
Press, this process is really easy!!

I now know how this is done.
I've just removed the "original" short Studs and replaced it with the longer
60mm Nismo Studs. NO HAMMERING REQUIRED!!
Anyone interested? I can post pics later...

The 50 mm studs were long enough to give me the thread protrusion I needed with 10 mm spacers. To get the 60 mm studs in would require taking the hubs off to install. In that case you could use the preffered method of pressing out the studs instead of hammering out.
