Default Buying Rota Time Attacks - what tires?

I'm picking up a set of Rota P45 Time Attacks for my Redline. Pic below:

What tires should I go with? I know nothing about tires. These wheels only come in 18" and the available offsets are 20, 25 and 30.

Go with the 20mm offset then. Should maximize the concavity of the spokes. As far as tires, do a search. There is tons of info, and there are too many tires to list. Don't be lazy.

Wait, how? I'm not really sure what offset is.

Wait, where does this come into play? I plan on dropping by 1.2" next week.

those are some pretty crazy looking wheels although I'd rather prefer the volks still but all in all not a bad looking wheel

I would go 18x9.5 All Around with +25 Offset for Aggressive, or +20 For Very Agressive

Tire sizes. I recommend 245/40 or 255/40 and for the rears 275/35. Brand, up to you

LMK if you want me to post a pic of +25 offsets, I had those wheels non time attacks on my car before.

Yea, please. I still have no idea what the difference between +25, +20, etc is!

Also, as for the width, why only 275 for rears? Wouldn't I want them to be wider, like 295?

Finally, what's the /35 after the 275?

1. +25, +20 is the offset ie: how close to the fender it will line up. +20 is pretty close to being right in line with the fender if you are looking down at it from the top. If you have a high number offset then the wheels will look sucked into the wheel well.

2. With a 275 the tire will look like the same size of the rim. 295 will look like the tire is alittle to big. I have 285's and they look just a hair larger than the rim.

3. The 35 is the side wall size. 275/35-18 = 275 (width) / 35 (side wall highth) - 18 rim size.

+1 On his info. Saved me typing

Heres some Pics of my old Rota P45 with +25 offset
(Honetly, while +25 looks fine, I would go +20 So it'd be a little more flush)
