Default Alignment needed? New 19" wheels

I'm going from the stock 17" rims to 19's next week. Am I going to need to get an alignment done? Stock suspension

Anyone else?

The reason I'm asking is that I've asked a lot of people if they had done one and they will say no most of the time.

If you plan to do it right you do!!! Not only do you need an alignment but in order to maintain stock specs you will need Toe Bolts & Radius arms for the rear; SPC are the industry leaders. And up front and adjustable A-arm is needed; SPC or Cusco are good. Change the parts THEN do the alignment.

That's false brother. You can get into spec without hardware. Many people can get into spec again after drops less than 1 inch without any hardware at all.

OMG!!! This is such a newb question. Whenever you install different wheels and or tires, or different springs, etc. you should get an alignment. Just do it and stop asking. Any tech will tell you this.

I'll ask whenever I please. The more opinions the better. If you don't like it don't respond.

You see, another opinion that says "no". My original thought on it would be that I wouldn't need an alignment. I'm still looking for more opinions.

bigger wheels does not need alignment...only if u lower it do an alignment...im sure some people will say that when u get wider and bigger wheels u SHOULD do it, but it is not necessary.

I'd do it just in case. Have the tech give you a read out of where you are at now and you can decide then.

You gotta remember that every car is slightly different and a little precaution never hurts (only in the wallet).

Unless you change offsets or diameters (OD of tires, I assume), I was told by my shop that you don't need an alignment based on tires/wheels change. Obviously, if you lower the car you will need an alignment.

If you change out JUST wheels and tires, and not touch your suspension, no you do not need an alignment.
