We tested the Nitto Neo Gen ZR in the Winter '07 issue of Nissan Sport Magazine. While I can't (re)publish that article here, the Neo Gens were a good all-season tire for the Z. In light snow, the Neo Gens provided enough traction to ease the car home in slippery conditions. They were also good in the rain as the asymmetric tread shed water effectively. In the dry, they offer decent traction and performance, but won't stick with a dedicated, full-on summer high performance tire (Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3, Bridgestone RE01R, etc.).

Cost was reasonable for a Z pilot looking for a tire with some all-season flexibility. Hope this helps and please check out Nissan Sport Magazine for real world tests on products for the 350Z (and other Nissans).

i personally have had pirelli pzero assimetrico, pzero nero, Nitto Neo Gen ZR, Nitto 555, and goodyear F1 GS D3. the F1 tires are amazing. not one other tire i have personally used holds a candle to this tire. you pay a little more for it, but the difference is amazing.
