Its a respectable all-season tire. Check here for test results: https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tires/271133-what-brand-tires-should-i-get.html

I believe they are summer tire....not an all season one. The RE50s are a replacement to the RE40s. The RE40s were not that great tires. I think the RE50s are better from what tirerack rated and I don't think I've heard too many complains with people with the RE50s if any at all. Again...its a summer performance tire and not to be confused with the RE950-AS pole-position (all-season). Did you have RE40s before?

My G had the RE050's stock, good tire but noisey and they wear fast. I replaced mine with Michelin Pilot Sports and noticed quite a difference in noise and handling.

I have them on my Z right now and don't recommend them at all for the simple fact that we Z owners can't get full life out of them, atleast I can't.

They are marked "inside" and "outside" so with camber they will feather and you can't dismount from rim and swap to opp. side. I wish I had gone with unidirectional instead.

you can take them off the rim and swap them left and right.

Sure you can, but it does you no good cause you can't put the inside which would be worn to the outside.

i have the RE040's on my Z and besides the noise, i think they are quite good for grip. not really sure why ppl hate them so much. alot better then the toyo t1s i had.

yeah i ended up going with michelin pilot sports. man theyre great so far. i havent been able to grip the road this well in a while....but i still get the feeling that theres a better tire out there for this car in the same price range. i dunno, i feel like i made a decent choice, i prolly coulda researched more.

Hey...what do you guys think about tire warranties? do you think theyre worth it?

MY BAD!! I'm thinking of the RE050A which are not unidirectional. Sorry if I caused confusion.
