Rear tire wear question
I just switched to 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 tires with stock suspension..I was told I needed to get SPC front camber arms and real links with toe bolts or my tires would die very very quickly. Is this true? How much life would not doing this cost to the tire?

Stock suspension; you did not lower it; then it did not affect the alignment...no camber arms or toe bolts needed. You can always check the alignment if it's within the specs.

well I am having a huge problem with my car rite now. I have an '06 and everything is bone stock for the exception of the 4 tires. Falken 452 and same profile and previous tires (stock) and after the car was high speed balanced and alligned the car was pulling a little bit to the rite. took the car back where it got alligned and they said it was within specs. now a little after 2 months not only it pulls to the right but at slower speeds it makes that "wosh wosh" noise as if I had a flat tire or something, you know, usually u hear it the most as you slow down to a complete stop. its so loud rite now and nobody knows what to do. dealer wants money. the place where I serviced the car says the only thing they can do is rotate left with right but that WOULD NOT solve my problems 100%. so I dont know what to do. anybody please??

If its a roaring sound as ur braking its just ur alignment may be off. Try to ask around for a GOOD alignment shop. Not all shops are the same. I had mine done at sears and i regret it, as the roaring came back.

Actually, from my understanding, if he's running 285s on the rear on a 10.5" wheel with a very low offset, he's going to get a little bit of neg. camber, but it won't be anything that's going to ruin the tires.

an alignment is the relationship of the tire to the ground - as you move the tire position around, via lower offset wheels, wider tire sizes, you are changing the relationship of the tire to the ground automatically. Some of these changes might be minor - but any alignment issues you had BEFORE you changed wheels and tires are exaggerated AFTER the new combo is installed.
So the real answer is - bring the car to a competant alignment shop, and put the car on the alignment rack. That is the ONLY way to know if you are still within spec, or out of spec. I think you will find you are out of spec after installing your new tires and wheels
