I recently decided to go with Volk GT-F's 19x19.5 & 19x10.5 with 17 offsets up front and 24 out back.

Ernie, I think your wheels are looking great, but a spacer will help in the back.
The offset question is a good one....wheels have a + or - for offset. Essentially (hope this comes out right) the offset is how far in or out the wheel is made from the center (centerline)...this is what dictates how much of a lip a wheel does or does not have. If you look at your paperwork you should see something that lists a number (for example +15, or +20) that is usually after the rim size.
Like mine are... 19x8.5 +15 offset in the front, and 19x9.5 +20 Offset in the rear. If you have two different offsets (not too likely) for the fronts and backs....then you might need to trade fronts for backs. Hopefully this helps and you can find your offsets to post here.

The only weird looking thing about the rims being on your Z is the tire size and the enormous wheel gap. What tire size are you running? The side wall on the rear looks way too thin.

+eleventy billion on the tire size. The rear looks really undersized which is not helping your cause. If you are running +42 all around, I would put the 20mm spacer on the front and get a 25mm for rear. Next time get a 275/35 tire on the rear.

19x9 +17 is not aggressive at all in terms of offsets.
what tires are you running in the rear? a set of 275/35/19 tires in the rear would help the look of the car (and to have proper rolling diameters).
