Expensive wheels = more expense & frustration. Not getting the "wheel-thing"

Oh, and put the Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R in stock trim there as well,
Those rims sure look kinda familiar in design to the stock 6-spoke Z Touring rims, don't you think

Hmm...maybe I am going to just wing it and get the Axis Super Hiro

tucked in wheels look like sh*t on the Z.

Having said that, on this site people trash every one's post with crap smart *** answers and "use the search button" except when it comes to their precious volks. Obviously, they need to get laid more.
To each their own....

OOh, Ouch, Eeeh

I totally agree. The stock 03-05 17" and 18" wheels looked like garbage, almost like wagon wheels.
LOL, totally agree those wheels do look like the belong on a 1920 ford t
. There is nothing more sexier on a Z with some 19inch volks with a 5inch deep dish lip and a nice fat tire. 06-07 wheels are nice but not wide enough to complement the Z's wide stance, especially from the rear, period.

Wider / lighter wheels (and wider, stickier tires) took more than a second off my "test & tune" time at the autocross track. -Well worth the extra cash IMO.
BTW, I got my SSR's on clearance for less than $200 each.

Wheels makes a Z. Your taste on wheels somehow gives your car a character.
Heck, some people are running with just rims as their mod and it's still very sexy. Given they have a good taste tho.

Everytime I wonder why I spend so much money on wheels I am kindly reminded by Rick @ STATUS's thread

But, isn't it the case that as you increase tread width you also increase the potential of hydroplaning?Of course tread design is very important, but tread width is a significant factor.

The wheels that came on my '06 GT are okay... Rays Forged 19" rear, 18" front... But I think I really have my heart set on the Volk SF Challenges; $3,000 buckaroonies for (4) rims not counting tires... Plus $1,800 - $2,000 for a set of decent tires. Expensive hobbie we got ourselves here! Lol! :-)

, I would say he isn't much worried about the condition of those wheels. --Spike
the only reason why i WANT rims is because i have the ability to fit wider tires in the rear and front( Improve handling) and it looks sick as well. So, for looks/performance. Oh, and to fill in that fender
