ok, i understand the whole budget thing but i wouldnt even spend a small budget on doing anything to my car thats going to not be a good improvement to the car and imho, i have yet to see a decent budget mod to a stock wheel that ive liked. yes darker can be better if done right and painting stock rims isnt doing it right nor is powdercoating them because that isnt "budget:. power coating the stock mono forged rims is beyond stupid since weakens the rim and makes that fact that wheels are forged pointless. here is my advice for you if you are on a budget. when your tires are running low on life, then start shoping for some used wheels with fairly new tires. you can usually pick up a set of nice g35 19" forged rays for around $1000 with tires. now thats a good budget buy, not this useless painting of the stock 17".

+1 I agree with Nexx or sell those rims, I'm sure someone will buy it.

I don't think the color looks good either. The rims themselves looks great though, maybe consider repainting it Volk Time Attack style, black spokes with a red lip. That should look very good on those Rays wheels.

I don't like it as well. Looks dirty. A lot better if you kept the original color.
