hey guys i was thinking of doing something diferent with my wheels. i have 19" Ruff wheels style 279. my z is SS so the wheels are a similar color with the polished lip. i was thinking of having them painted/powdercoated. i have two options im considering and i would like some outside input. Option 1: leave the centers the same but have the lips painted/powdercoated in black. Option 2: Paint the center black and the lips SS. thanks.

I have the same wheels in 18, I think the black lip would look nice, have someone photoshop it first to see if you're going to like it.

Black is becoming way too overrated. Everybody has black rims now try something different, like bronze/darker gunmetal.

 

so you suggest then to have the center black and the lip bronze/gunmetal?

 

out of the two paint inside black and outter SS..painting outter lip black will make the wheel look smaller

Leave it. Lips, and center and the car all being a different color would be hideous.

i dont think the color match lip would look bad at all. Id like to see it.
