Default 350Z in Toyo T1-R commercial

I did a search and could not find this in previous posts, but flame suit is on just in case.

Here is a really nice long commercial for Toyo T1-R tires. Check it out:

Anybody else find it funny how the text says "Excellent Grip at the Limit" except the Z is slightly drifting rather than gripping there. I guess that's their definition of the limit.

How specifically did the T1-R disappoint you? I was considering getting them to replace my Potenza SO3's since those are discontinued. What tires do you like better?

I have the T 1 Rs and have been happy; good grip wet/dry, quiet, good milage. Complaint is they have a soft sidewall. I don't see it myself but I don't push the limits of adhesion.

Bang for the buck, its hard to beat T1Rs. Yes there are better tires out there, but not at that price.

Also the grip depends on many other things to, so a trendy comercial to grab attention is realy only ment to draw intrest. Power and tir width plays a huge roll in the grip. You get a 300whp car with 315's and you can hardly brake it loose, get a 600whp on stockers and watch the rubber fly.

T1R's given the correct width for the application are great. If you want some super grip go with the R888's. Id hit that if I had the cash.
