run on 4 bolts, safe?
I just put a set of 25mm spacers on all 4 wheels. Problem on one spacer when you bolt it on the studs i could only put 4 bolts on 1 bolt tread is stripped. Now Is it still safe to run on just 4 bolts?
i lost a nut once, not the john kruk way, it just fell off at some point.
i think it was only missing for a day or two and i ddint really notice anything.
you should probably get it fixed ASAP though

It doesn't matter which one is missing. If you have 5 studs and 4 nuts, you're losing 20% of the holding power. That's not a big problem in the short-term for everyday driving but you wouldn't want to leave it like that long-term and you certainly wouldn't want to have it like that for any high stress, high performance driving situations.

Last summer, I participated in a drift practice with 4 bolts on each side of the rear wheels with no problem.. A stud broke on each side while changing to drift wheel/tires.. so I said what the hell just practice.. I know it's stupid, but drift practice session at a track doesn't come around often in Korea...
