^^^ it all depends on your driving.. I believe max drifts or races. I hand no problem with mine what so ever.. Just watch for pot holes or huge dips.

it's the cv boot. i've heard of it happening on several lowered z's. it's kind of inevitable if your car is slammed due to the increased angle of the axel. that happened after driving 9000 miles with my coils as low as they can go and a couple of drift events.

Thank you guys!! The hood is not cut outs it is an Asuka type II hood on fiberglass, one of only a few left around.

Is there a fix for this? Besides replacing it with another OEM boot? Any aftermarket CV's that can handle the track?
