just lost ALL structural integrity that the fender had, any small "rub" now will result in a buckled fender skin.

i get the idea, but not exactly how i would have went about it.

edit: looking back at it, it actually might workout well. i give you credit regardless, close/weld/seal those cuts asap.

jeez i don't think i'd go through that much effort. getting smaller tires would be easier. all i did was hammer the **** out of the liner and it cleared up enough space and keeps the strength of the fender. that just looks sketchy.

Yeah You wont loose any outer fender structure.
I cut all mine out and rolled and pulled and it came out prefect.

Just to give you guys an inside view of under the fender here you go..
This is my car I cut out all the rubbing parts. I put on entire new rear quarters.

I'm not running skinny tires...

It won't buckle and I just got back from pushing the **** out of her...

It took me two hours before I even touched the car due to all those issues...

Works...

well I use to rub on dips as most of us here...

I took her to places where my butt-hole would clinch up...

everything seems normal no *brum*ba*/ *pigs squealing* noise

BUT

and I knew you guys are waiting for the bad

it rained last night and the car sounds like a shower is in the trunk...

gonna spray that rubber coated and hopes that keeps the road noise back to normal...

also

do not attempt...

if you do try to...measure out a piece inbetween me and 350DAN...

his was too little for my taste...and my cut is more than what's needed...

so in the middle is just right...

a little red riding hood look at the situation...

again do not attempt take it to a shop and spend your money...

^ damn i know one thing for sure, you won't be able to wipe off or get rid of that yellowish brown hazing, happened from the heat of the rubbing, i just got the same thing the other week and havent been able to get it out with any product, even tried wetsanding it out, **** is literally baked into the paintwork

i had to raise the car back up no other option, at least until i get my fenders pulled out half an inch, camber is at -4.5 and i dont rub anymore.

from the looks of it as well why not add more poke up front, you got a flush setup front and poke out rear

more camber and a massive pull...if you dont have a fender roller on hand jack up the car, put a heat gun to the fender and use the phone book to flare the edges out
