Default Questions about Enkei RPF1's

Hello all!

I asked if another thread but didn't get a response and did a quick google search but did not get anything. So hopefully I do not get flammed.

I am picking up Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 +15 all around this weekend. I have two questions about this:

Can I use OEM lugs with this for a couple weeks? This might be a stupid question but I want to be 100% sure I won't have any issues with this.

My second question is for recommendations on hub adapters.

Is this something I would be looking for?

That is my spec. You will love them!
The oem acorns will not fit. No hub adapter necessary, plug and play. Enjoy!

JHC is a bad boy and doesn't play by the rules. While hubcentric rings aren't necessary, they will help eliminate any vibrations from off-balance wheel mounting. Here are the specs you will need:

Dang, I'll have to order lugnuts then before I can put them on . Should I be looking at anything in particular with lugnuts? I am a wheel newb.

Also thank you Advan I'm going to order those right now.

I use hub-centric rings on my RPF1's. The wheels will mount without them, but the studs will have extra forces to deal with.

With the rings, the studs only have to hold the wheel flush against the hub. All other force is on the hub itself.

My rings came from Tire rack and are basically plastic. I think I may try a set of those aluminum ones though.

You will definitely appreciate tuner lugs with a thin-wall adapter (Muteki, Gorilla, etc) or you will be constantly rubbing the paint from your lug holes.

Enkei lists the bore at 73mm, not 73.1mm?

I've went aluminum and never looked back. They last forever and if they fall off you actually hear them hit the ground.

I change wheels evry month for the track and the plastic rings are a PITA to remove (without breaking) when the hubs are still warm.

My SSR's use aluminum rings and are easier to work with.

I don't know the specs on my rings because Tire Rack just said "We have the rings for those wheels and will send you a set".

My bad, I thought they sold rings as 73mm/73.1mm, not both. I would definitely go with 73mm since that's what the website says. I will edit my post above.

It's okay, I know it is your ebay store and you were just trying to get my money.

I was also reading that like why wouldn't you be getting the wheels with the correct lug pattern...

But I think by hub adapter he is talking about is the little plastic ring that goes over the hubsentric ring so their is no play around the hub...

I could be completely wrong though.

Got my rims! They are 18x9.5 with +15mm offset. Here's some before and afters.

That is my Duramax in the background. It got new Michelin Defender LTX M/S all around. Today was an expensive day, lol.

They are very flush. No spacers. 275/40 on rear, and 255/40 on front.

The rims and tires, lugs, mounting and balancing and all that stuff came out to just under $2300.00. Not bad for some much needed traction, and a way more aggressive look. The old tires and rims looked like they belonged on a Prius or something.
