would you mean 255 in the front and 275 in the rear? Sorry i am 100% clueless on tires/wheels sizes lol.
Any suggestions on brand of tires for these wheels?
Thanks again!
Correct. 245 or 255/35-19 Front and 275/35-19 Rear.
Sheesh, I have several spare sets of tires that I'm going to be selling! Oh, this is not an offer to sell at this point! So MODS, lay off me.... oh wait...
Too bad you're not local to me. Laff. But, if you're interested in any, just say so and I'll post them in the Marketplace to keep this all on the up and up.
EDIT: Oh, you asked for brands..... well, to be quite honest, tires have gotten so good that it's hard to really pick one particular brand. For example, mentioned my spare sets... add those to what the cars have on at the moment, many of the major brands are represented: Bridgestone (3 sets, 2 models), Sumitomo, Michelin, Kumho... so yeah, hard to pick one but to tell it again, I love my Sumitomo HTR Z-IIIs.
I have Continental Extreme Contact DWS 275/40-18” tires on the rear mounted on 18x9.5” (offset 15mm) Enkei Tenjin Wheels with a 0.6” (14mm) drop (Tein S-Tech springs), and I don’t rub.
I think that part of the reason I’m not rubbing is that the Continental DWS tires have a less-wide tread than most 275 mm tires. For example, the 275mm Continental DWS tires have the same tread width as the 165mm Continental DWS tires. That means the tire may “pull-in” more at its outer diameter, and thus lessening the tendency to rub under suspension compression.
Here are a couple of pictures that might support my point.

Can't say I know anybody running VW Bug (air cooled) tires on their Z though, Spike.
2008 350z HR base model with 100% stock suspension.
Tires will be bought in the near future
Don't forget the hub ring adapters. Look on Fleabay.... 73.1mm to 66.1mm. About $5 for a set in nylon/plastic. $8 in aluminum. I have half a dozen nylon sets (spares for the most part) and one in aluminum. Guess which I like better?
Why - I like the nylon ones better because when they get stuck to the hub (and they always do, no matter how much cleaning and pre-lubing them one does and they still stick even when one changes their wheels out as often as I do.), the nylon ones are easier to get off with a small screwdriver to prise it off because the inevitable corrosion doesn't bond with nylon like it does with aluminum).
