To clear what? If they are 9.5 +15, they should clear without a spacer. I run that size with a 285/35, as well as a 285 on 10.5 +15.

well im not sure, the guy i bought them from, said the fronts wouldnt clear the inside with the 285's so he gave me his spacers that he had to use. wish i would have known that before i installed longer studs this weekend...

It's all fun until you have to replace the 19" A6....the 18's are pricey enough!

You mean widest? Are you lowered? Offset? Front or rear?

Which offset are they? Regardless, 275/40/17 is the biggest I'd put on it

I've seen a guy track a 9.5 +20 with 285/30 on the front and 10.0 +22 with 295/30 in the rear on a Z, but I limit my 9.5's to 275's.

265 would probably be best, but 275 would work too.

He is looking at 17" RPF1s.

I have only seen the Dunlop Star Spec in 265/40/17, which of course works. I ran 275/40/17s on 9s forever, then (wide Hoosier 275/40/17s) on 17x10 FN01R-Cs.

Oh I'm talking about my 18x9.5 +15 front

The 17x9.5 +18 ones I'm getting I'm putting 255/40/17 RS3s on cause they cost $125.00 a tire

Well don't you already have 265 RS3s on that 9.5 +15 front? You can fit larger (275 or 285), but the consensus is that the RS3s like a little stretch, so that 265 is perfect. Why would you change it up at this point?

Agree, I would stick with the 265 on the 9.5" with the RS3's....even a 255.

I'm potentally just gonna sell my 18in RPF1s and buy the 17s and put some spacers back on. My friend I've been talking to wanted to know whether he could fit 275/285 combo or even just a 285 square on a 9.5/10.5.

I didn't know the answer so that's why I'm asking.

Sweet set up! Thanks for the specs. Any idea what your alignment specs are? Thanks.
