Could be the shape of the tire maybe? The only noise I ever get in the front is from my SPL arms over bumps. Normal little clunk noise, but definitely no rubbing.

Thanks terras. Next step is raise slightly still think 10mm plus realign and around -2 degrees. Would you buy extended studs for 10mm?

You have to, without extended studs you will have about 1 thread. ARP studs look great with RPF1's

I tried it a long time ago just for fitment reason. Bolted it up and rolled the car 5 feet to settle the suspension. Had to leave them loose, then i tried to torque them the threads were removed from a lug nut.

5mm or less is considered safe, but even then I had to re-thread. Lugs are a wear and tear item and should be replaced especially if the wheel is taken off repeatedly with an air gun.

Nasty, after you clean the wheels and install tires, it'll look perfect.

Default Tire fitment question... Will it rub? RPF1 & RS3's

I just picked up some RPF1's 18X9.5 +15 for my base 2004 350Z.It sits at stock height with bone stock suspension. I track the car occasionally and am going to an auto X event in September. This is my DD as well.

I was wondering if anyone has had any fitment issues or rubbing with 265/35R18 Hankook RS3 tires. I was debating getting 245 size tires in the BFG Rival to be sure that I would have no fitment issues but, from what I've seen, that's a bit on the small side and I would rather have the wider tire if I could.

I've done some searching on the topic and have not found a conclusive answer from someone with this exact setup so any input is apprecitaed.

Soooo... ***FLAME SUIT ON****

If it does rub, you can probably fix it without rolling your fender by removing the top fender lining bolt and bracket.

Does anyone see a problem with removing 1 or all 3 of these bolts and brackets? The fender lip seems to do a pretty good job of holding the liner without them.

I just remove the screw, cut the screw down , reinstall and fold the tab slightly. I did that to the above mentioned car and hand pulled the front slightly.
