I ran 265/35/18 RS3s on 18x9.5 +12 wheels without any hint of rubbing. I apparently have only -2.1º of camber up front.

RPF1 18X9.5 +15; 265/35R18 RS3

Have yet to take her out and see if the tires rub under full compression. Guess i'll have to wait until the Fontana meet
It it does rub, it's a simple fix. Will take me 5 minutes to do a slight fender pull up front.

265 is good for the 9.5 +15. I couldn't pass up a deal on four 285s, and put them on the 9.5 +15 RPF1s as well. A little tight up front, but 3.2 degrees of camber solved it.

hi, finally sold my stock wheels planing to go for rpf1 18" 10.5 +15 all around

my car is lowered (s-techs)... i am thinking of going for Potenza re11 275-40-18?

those will be my track - autoX wheels. but also i will drive to the track and back using these tires so i dont wanna go too low.. but at the same time i wanna the wheels + tires diameter be smaller than the stock wheels

should i go for 275/40 or 275/35 re11?

are you going for the stretched look?
275 fits perfectly on a 9.5" wheel so its going to be stretched by about 1" on the 10.5
my 255 fronts you can even tell they're slightly stretched on my front 9.5s

275/35 front and rear or 275/35 front with 275/40 rears are your better options.

^ Good advice, I'm running 275/35/18 on all 4 of my 10.5" Enkei. Solid handling.

I found a deal on the RPF1's I couldn't pass up. From what I read on the forums the 265 RS3's would be the best tire for my DD and occasional track needs in convenience, price and performance. I had the Falken Ziex ZE912's in the stock 225/235 17" sizes on for a few track events and am really excited to see what I can do with the RS3's

yes.. this wat i wanted to know..but the problem every tire brand have a different profile..

for example my nitto invo 19-35 got the same side wall of Dunlap sport max 19-40!!

so am afraid that the potenza re11 18-40-275 will have a big side wall, and the total diameter will be bigger than the oem diameter.

It shouldn't be different atd all
Since the sidewall ratio is a percentage of the width

275/40
Is 275mm wide and the sidewall is 40% of the width. So 275*.40
And they third number is simply the size wheel you need

^ Not all tires of a same size are created equal. As mentioned above, check Tire Rack for specs.
