I've been thinking of untinting the tails. And these rears need replaced like soon and I have two ways I can with the set up and I'm really torn. I could get another set of 275's for the rear, or I could get 225/40 and put those up front with some 20mm spacers and put the 245/40's in the rear with 25mm spacers.

Since you have some functional wheels now, why not keep proper size tires on them? Put 275/40 on the rear, keep the 245/40 up front, when the tread runs out on those, then replace with 255/40. and yes, untinting the tails would be a very good idea!

+1 for untinting tails
225/245 combo is a terrible idea
Most common set up is 255/40 and 275/40. (Doesn't mess up tpms)
If you wanted to go 35 series then go 265/35 and 285/35

Not 225/45. 225/40F 245/40 rear. 20mm front spacers and 25mm rear. Or I'd just replace the 275/35's I have now. They tuck still even though they're 35's.

I'm sayin the 225/40 245/40 combo would be terrible IMO.
Yea Id recommend just switchin out the 275s you got now to a 275/40 and when the fronts wear out I'd change em to 255/40

255/40 front and 275/40 rear or 265/35 front and 285/35 rear. You can even install a 5 to 10mm spacer to get the hellaflushed look. Your car will not look Gay like it would with civic sized tires.

Default What color Enkei RPF1's on White Z?

My Z:

Similar Z with Enkei RPF1's painted gloss black? chrome black?

Also was thinking gold, black or gold? I'm leaning towards gold as it stands out more I think.

Pick the color you like, just about any color looks great on a white Z. Just stay away from black.

I'm gonna go against terra and say satin black.

With white, go with Enkei's SBC.

Looks like the white Z next to the one in the second picture has gold wheels. Can't go wrong with either, both look nice as long as its gloss black and not flat black. To me gold is more flashy and eye catching, black is meaner and more aggressive looking.

Oh my, I'm getting terrible ideas, the powdercoating idea led to me thinking of...

something that could be awesome:

and eventually something that could be awesome in a wierd way, or totally awful:

Powdercoating something a rose gold color isn't going to cost more than any other color right? It's not like they're using actual gold, though I suppose they could? Right?

Also, anyone ever seen this hydrographics stuff? Is it durable?

Not a fan of candy colors really, like purple, red, orange, green, etc. I like polished metal-looking colors. I thought about hydrographics for carbon fiber look, but now am thinking that's a little to "fake" and not going to be as durable as powdercoating. Apparently it's just a thin film, I talked to a place that does both.

I thought it might be funny, when people ask "are those really wood?" to lead them along, and see if they believed it lol
