Default One More Opinion And Question On Rolling

hey guys,
Once again, I am going to change my setup and had a few questions if anyone could chime in on them. I'm now choosing between SSR Professors SP1 and AME Spec-R rims in 18".

Here's the specs on my choices:

SSR Professors Sp1 (black w/polish)
F: 18x9 +16 (if possible those offsets)
R: 18x10 +16 (if possible those offsets)

AME Spec-R (flat black w/polish)
F: 18x9 +15
R: 18x10 +15

Does anyone know how much the professors weigh? Can't seem to find a weight list.

As for rolling, would I need rolling with the +15 (ame) or +16 (professors) if I were to run a 245/40/18 in the front and 275/40/18 in the rear on either one?

It will work just fine, you could even go up to a 275/35 or 255/40 front.

id personally go with the AME's. i like the flat black faces.

as far as offsets go, there is virtually no difference between the two. a millimeter is nothing. think about it this way. an inch = 25.4 mm. so get whichever you like better, fitment will be just about the same.

O yea forgot to post. I'm going to be running on hotchkis springs. But depending on how much gap, I might change out to gf210's or something.

I was thinking about the AME's, but I was a little concerned since I don't have a bbk or brembos and thought it would look a bit bare in the back of the rim

The specs that you mention are hardly original. There is at least one similar thread each week.
