real quick guys....can i run a 245/40/18 on the front?

Default real quick guys....can i run a 245/40/18 on the front?

getting tires asap due to safety reasons. Can I run my stock 255/45/18 rear and put 245/40/18 up front with no VDC issues.

Iam a 03 touring

That tires should be just shy of stock OD. You should be fine.

thanks, I got Bridgstone RE050A with 95 % tread life for 80 bucks installed for the two fronts!!!

car handles much better with the 245 and the road noise is gone!!!!!!

You are going to love the 245/40-18” front tires. This size provides a superior handling experience with the Z than the stock 225’s. You get better turn-in, more neutral handling, and this size (245 front) does not suffer from “bump-steer.”

sweet. i already am loving them and thats just driving in the rain. The ride is better with a 245/40 than the 225/45.

and i saw tirerack wants 230 a piece and i got them for 40 installed a piece!!

245/40/18 is what the 2008 nismo editions come with from the factory. They run a 265 out back in a 19". If it is performance enough for the nismo Editions...I figure its an upgrade from the 225's.

The 245/40 in front is fine but 255/45 in rear is tall. If you can find 255/40, that size will be much better.
