Default Pics of my new tires....wide cheap and sticky!

So I went in for inspection and my front two Dunlops had the steel belt/nylon ribbing colapse on the inner tread block!! And I needed two new tires up front.

Tired of pushing at the auto-x I wanted to get 245's up front so I started shopping around....Futura $115 Kumo $140 Pirelli $$$$$.

Called a used tire shop and found these of a M3 that had 4k miles on it and had a nail in 1 tire so he wanted to scrap his tires and get all new tires.

So...I got 95% tread wear on all 4 tires with the nubs still on the contact patch for.................150 installed!!!!!!!!!! all four!

went from 225 F 245 R with a 300 tread wear rating

to.....245 F 265 R Bridgestone RE050 with 140 tread wear ratings!!!

SWEET and here are some pics

Old lady couldnt park

Turn in and grip is amazing and looking forward to sundays Auto-X!!!!

BJ, nice deal! Looks like you've got some major camber going on in the rear, or is that the picture angle?

Looks pretty good, but they look like the camber's off in all of your pics!

So you got 265/40/18's on the stock wheels in the back??? How well does it fit on 8.5's?

I was thinking about trying 275/40's on my stock 8.5's in the back, but not sure if they will hold up. Having a hard time finding 265/40's...

eibach sportlines....no camber correction yet. the extra negative camber makes the rear look lower. Actually measures same height fender to fender from the ground up

you can see the 245 and 265 fit perfectly flush to the rims...no stretch...no bulge. It is the perfect setup.

yes it is 40 series all around

took the pics with a wide angle lens so it kind of accentuates the camber.

Decent pricing, I gave up on Bridgestones from the factory in less than 1000 miles myself. Looks like you got a different spec Bridgestone RE050, than come on the Z from the factory. These are supposed to be much stickier I understand.

thanks...after your comments I searched a bunch of 350z's on the eibach sportlines and I think I got a bad batch for the front. I will see if I can get new fronts to see if it goes lower

Sam's new and used tire
804 Ghetto drive
richmond va

really nice guy...has heat treated hoosiers, daytons with vogue tyres, monster truck tires...really eclectic mix of customers...but seriously good deals on mildly used tires.

Lots are from insurance companys parting out thefts and totaled cars etc.

I wanted 275's but none had as much tread left and a low tread wear like these so I couldnt pass them up. These are my auto-x wheels and tires so it should provide just enough grip for my N/A application.....Mr. 500hp!!!
