Default Spacer question

If I used 15MM spacers on the rear wheels would I need to extend the studs or can I just use the exsiting OEM studs?

If I get a set that has studs alreay built in I wouldn't have to romove the OEM studs right? I was looking at these by KICS. http://www.optionimports.com/kiwhsp5x1115.html

I think you might have to grind the studs down a little bit though. I put some 25mm on my car and it was a tight fit.

I believe some wheels have little spaces on the back of the mounting pad in between the drilled bolt holes, so the OEM studs would fit in there if the extend passed the spacer. There was a thread on here showing a guy with Enkei RPF1s that had no problems with the OEM studs sticking passed the spacers. I'm not sure how many aftermarket wheels have the little spaces on the mounting pad, though.

I've got the 15mm Project Kics spacers. The OEM studs stick out past the spacer, but the SSR's I'm running actually have another 5 holes for these type of spacers (part of the reason I went with the Project Kics spacers):

So what exactly happens if the OEM studs stick out through the spacers?
