Default 245/45/18 (Front) & 275/45/18 (Rear)

I'm thinking about going with this set up on my stock '08 Touring, stricktly to have more rubber on the road and get better handling. The Z is in serious need of more rubber. The rim sizes are: 18x8 Front and 18x8.5 Rear. I know the front will fit fine and the 245 size tire on the front is the best choice from all my research, and I know 275 will create a small bulge on the outside wall (but I actually like that look, gives a more profound/aggressive stance). Just wanted to get some pro's and con's from your fellas.
P.S. this is a daily driver and I don't plan on going to the track with it.

Thanks, Bryan.

You do not need extra rubber for better handling. You just have to learn how to handle the car as is. Adding wider tires will most likely do nothing, furthermore they will look silly on the stock narrow wheels.

If you do not plan on tracking it, then why are you concerned with handling?

You won't get better handling with 275's on a narrow 8.5 inch wheel.

I have 245/40/18 fronts, and 275/40/18 rears. IMO it was a good move, I get awesome traction, (especially around corners). There is a "bulge" in the rear, but it does make it look more agressive. Im running stocks right now, but I do plan on switching to 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. Maybe higher if I can find the right wheels.

If you want to put more rubber on the road put wider wheels on the car.

A good 245 mm tire will outperform a poor 275 mm tire.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think anyone makes 275/45/18 tires that you're looking for. Besides, that's not the ideal aspect ratio for 275s. Get either 275/35s or 275/40s.
