Default Question

Is this fixable or is it toast? reason i ask is i would have to do some driving out of this town to find a place that fixes wheels and woudl hate to waste gas on something not worth saving.

That is easily fixable. It won't cost an arm and a leg.

you win the prize for least descriptive thread title of the week.

Easily fixable man. Obviously prices will vary slightly, but expect to pay $100-$150 to make that good as new.

^^ Good comment and accurate advice as well. The OP can have this fixed, and his wheel will look new (too new for a month or so). As you mention, the repair cost is moderate.

i saw the how-tos on the repair it yourself but since that part is polished rather than painted, looks like i am going to find somwhere to get it done. again thanks for the advice and the answers, at least no one posted "that'll buff right out"
