Default A special situation... can I fit 10mm spacers on my rears...

I have 19x9.5 +24 in the rears with 275/35/19 tires. There is about a little less than 1 finger gap from the fender to the tire vertically. There is about 1/4 inch gap between the rim top to the edge of the fender horizontally.

Here are my requirements: I basically want it as close to perfectly flushed as possible without it sticking out at all, and I want to have minimal camber. I commute a lot and want to have my tires last as long as possible.

I was originally thinking 10mm would do it, but upon measuring with a ruler, it seems 5mm would be the max for what I want. Anyone want to help me out with this?

25.4mm=1 inch. Therefore 1/4 inch=6.35mm.

It's close to flush, why go through all the hassle (and money) of putting on spacers which theoretically affects your suspension?

^a pair of spacers are pretty minimal in terms of cost (you can get any size used all day for ~$100; new less than $200), and they are hardly a hassle--in the time it takes to remove a wheel and put it back on is about as long as it takes to install a spacer. And how will a 10mm spacer affect suspension?

OP, a 10mm spacer seems like it would be the best choice to push your rears out. Hell, if you are that much on the fence, just find a used set of 10mm spacers and if they dont work...sell them for what you paid for them.

Even better, you should roll you fenders and run a 15mm spacer. If you're too scared to do that, 10mm will be just fine. Just roll your fenders.

Yeah, I plan to roll my fenders anyways. I'll most likely stick with the 10mm then.

19x9.5 +9 in the rear with 275/35/19 toyos...if you're rolling your fenders, i suggest 15-20mm spacers...i'm lowered about just less than an inch.

edit: i'm running stock aligment numbers.

Thanks, I'm gonna go with the 10mm. Hopefully it'll look just right with good alignment numbers.

Granted a 10mm spacer won't affect the suspension that much, I would rather not run spacers at all after seeing some shear off on track days.

It's also not much of a hassle if you have the right tools and a garage. I have neither... so it's a hassle for me. Maybe not so much for the OP.
